Possessing nearly two decades of experience in Africa’s telecom industry, Seny’s expansive career has led him to design, build, and execute complex cellular networks with an annual budget of $100+ million. Seny has launched the first mobile money platform for MTN Congo in 2009. Driven by love of financial technology, Seny will be using his business acumen, multicultural experiences, and profound knowledge of African telecom industries to build CONEKTO as its CEO.
Gandé began his career in Sales & Marketing positions in the FMCG industry. After few assignments on different continents, he joined the Telecom industry in groups, such as Celtel, MTN and Etisalat.
Gande believes in a bright future for Africa and our ability to contribute to building its foundations. He comes on board committed to helping African entrepreneurs succeed and overachieve their growth objectives
As director of technology, Fankany manages and implements our technical strategy. In addition to supervising a team of engineers and network technicians, Fankany preserves CONEKTO’s ability to offer consumers innovative technological solutions. He earned a computer science degree from Martha Abreu Central University in Las Villas and has held engineering positions at Telecel, MTN, and Evolve Technologies prior to joining the rest of the team.
With 13 years of experience in the African & Asian Telecom industry, Amit has held positions as system administrator, as well as a network emergency & operations manager. As he served as the latter for 8 years in 5 different African nations, Amit possesses a strong understanding of the African working culture and telecommunications industry. He trained engineers and ensured business operations performed at optimal function. He’s collaborated with some of the industry’s leading operators such as MTN, Airtel, and Ericsson.
